Whimsical and toy-like, they soften the harshness of real life memories of people, places things or experiences lost and make mementos of wonderful moments.

These portraits of stink-eyed, bored, and distracted comedy club patrons put the spotlight on an audience of imagined indifference. The subjects have been brought out of the darkness and rendered with bright saccharin colors and thick black lines on stark white backgrounds
