These portraits of stink-eyed, bored, and distracted comedy club patrons put the spotlight on an audience of imagined indifference. The subjects have been brought out of the darkness and rendered with bright saccharin colors and thick black lines on stark white backgrounds

I have an unabashed love of pop culture, and often create work based on the movies, television shows, books, music and musicals, that delight the heck out of me. Here are a few of those drawings, needle feltings, paintings, digital compositions, and constructions.
